15 minutes of your time: a survey on non-religious worldviews and social capital

Would you like to help with this research project on non-religious worldviews and social capital? It only takes about 15-20 minutes to complete the survey.

This study examines the extent to which non-religious forms of identity are related to trust, wellbeing, and involvement in the community. The study is being conducted by Dr Steven Kettell (University of Warwick), Dr Siobhan McAndrew (University of Sheffield) and Professor David Voas (University College, London). It is an independent study and is not being funded by any external organisation, agency, or individuals.

This survey is for people who do not identify as religious. You will be asked some questions about your worldview, your thoughts on wellbeing, belonging, and trust, and your engagement in voluntary activities. The survey will not collect any personally identifiable information unless you explicitly choose to provide it. The results will be used in published work but all data shall remain completely anonymous. The survey should take around 15-20 minutes to complete. You must be over 18 to participate in this research.

This study has been approved by the Humanities and Social Sciences Research Ethics Committee at the University of Warwick. Collected data may be looked at by authorities from the University as part of its regulatory procedures. Your participation is entirely voluntary and you are free to withdraw at any time without giving a reason. Full details of the study, including information on how your data will be used, can be found on the project website. If you have any questions about this research, please contact Dr Steven Kettell on s.kettell@warwick.ac.uk
