Humanistically Speaking sends warm congratulations to James Frey Croft on his appointment as University Chaplain and Lead Faith Advisor at the University of Sussex in Brighton. He started his new role in February 2023.
Humanists UK hopes that James's appointment will encourage other universities and institutions to embrace a more inclusive approach when it comes to providing person-centred care for students.
Bournemouth University and Arts University Bournemouth Faith & Reflection Team (Chaplaincy) appointed a humanist adviser to the team in 2021.
